Terms of use
What you agree to by using the site, and (more usefully) what we agree to. The clauses about who owns your game are the ones worth reading.

The deal, in one paragraph
vibedgame is a free place to find browser games and to launch your own. You can browse and play without agreeing to anything much. If you make an account you take on a few obligations: be honest, do not break the submission rules, do not manipulate votes. In return you keep every right to what you make, you can take it down whenever you like, and we tell you what we are doing with your data on the privacy page. That is the whole arrangement; everything below is the detail.
Your account
- You need to be 13 or older, or 16 where local law requires it.
- One human, one account. Additional accounts to inflate votes are the specific thing the vote manipulation rule exists for.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, so use a password you do not use anywhere else. If you think it has been compromised, email us and we will lock it.
- Give us an email address that reaches you. Moderation notices, appeals and password resets all go there and we have no other way to contact you.
Your content stays yours
You own your game, your screenshots, your description and your comments. Submitting to vibedgame transfers no ownership of anything to us. We do not take a stake in your game, we do not take a cut of anything you sell, and we do not gain any right to publish, sell, sublicense or train on your game.
You are confirming three things when you submit: that you made it or have the right to post it, that you have the rights to any assets in it, and that the listing is honest about what is behind the link.
The licence you grant
To run a listing at all, we need permission to show your listing. That permission is deliberately narrow:
You grant VibedGame a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute the title, tagline, description, screenshots, tags and links you submit, solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the site: showing your listing on vibedgame.com, including it in the daily email, and using it in previews such as social cards and search results.
What that licence explicitly does not cover:
- The game itself. We link to it. We do not host, copy, modify or redistribute your build.
- Anything commercial beyond the site. No merchandise, no reselling your screenshots, no licensing your art to anyone.
- Training machine learning models. Your submission is not training data and we do not licence it to anyone as such.
- Exclusivity. Launch the same game anywhere else, on the same day, and tell everybody. It is your game.
The licence ends when the listing comes down, with two practical exceptions that apply to any website: copies may persist in search engine caches and in already-sent email until those systems catch up, and in our routine backups until they rotate out.
Comments work the same way. You keep them, we get to display them where they were posted.
Our side of it
The site itself (the design, the code, the writing on pages like this one, the generative cover art, the name and the mark) belongs to VibedGame. You are welcome to link to anything here, screenshot it, quote it in a post, and use the badges we make specifically for you to put on your own site. What you should not do is scrape the site wholesale or reproduce it as your own product.
Acceptable use
The detailed version lives in the submission rules, which are part of these terms. The short version: do not manipulate votes, do not post things you do not have the rights to, do not submit real-money gambling or sexual content, do not harass anyone, and do not attack the site (no scraping at volume, no probing for vulnerabilities without asking, no automating accounts).
If you find a security problem, tell us at hey@vibedgame.com before you tell anyone else. We will not threaten you for reporting something responsibly.
The games are not ours
Every game listed here runs on somebody else's site. We check links before they go live and we remove listings that break these terms, but we do not control what happens once you leave, and we do not warrant any listed game or its maker.
Not every listing arrives by submission. Part of the catalogue is compiled (put together from publicly available information about games and the people who make them, including material published elsewhere on the web), so that a category is worth browsing before its makers have found us. Compiled listings and the profiles attached to them are maintained by us rather than by the maker, and no affiliation, endorsement or partnership is implied by one existing. If a listing is yours, write to hey@vibedgame.com and we will hand it over or take it down, whichever you prefer.
Games are not age-rated by us. If something you find here breaks these terms, the report button on the listing is the fastest route and it reaches a person.
Copyright and DMCA
If something on this site infringes your copyright, email hey@vibedgame.com with the subject line DMCA and include:
- Identification of the work you say is infringed.
- The exact URL on vibedgame.com of the material in question.
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We act on valid notices promptly and we tell the maker what came in and who sent it. If you are that maker and you believe the claim is wrong, you can send a counter-notice with the same details plus a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and consent to jurisdiction in your district. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
Ending it
You can leave whenever you like. Delete individual listings from your dashboard, or email us to delete the account entirely. Nothing is retained to hold you here.
We can remove content or accounts that break these terms or the submission rules. In almost every case you get an email naming the specific rule, and you can appeal by replying to it. A person reads it. The exception is content we are legally obliged to remove immediately.
What we do not promise
Plainly: the site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it will be available, that a listed game will work, that your launch will go well, or that the ranking will treat any particular game the way you hoped. We do not promise the site will exist forever, though if it is ever shutting down we will say so well in advance and give makers time to take their listings and their data with them.
Nor do we promise accuracy. Alongside what makers submit, the site carries material drawn from, derived from or modelled on public third-party sources: descriptions and imagery, ratings and reviews, play counts, vote totals, rankings, maker details and similar indicators. Some of it is aggregated, estimated, representative or generated rather than individually measured, may not correspond to any specific person, account or event, and is offered for general interest only. Treat any figure on the site as indicative, not audited, and do not rely on one for a decision that matters to you.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising out of your use of the site is limited. This is a free service and we cannot carry unbounded risk for a link somebody submitted. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here takes away consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
Changes, law and contact
When these terms change materially the date at the top changes, the change is noted in the changelog, and if it affects makers we say so on the site rather than hoping nobody notices. Continuing to use the site after that is how you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction, except where the law of your own country gives you the right to bring a claim locally, which it may.
Anything at all: hey@vibedgame.com. Legal notices reach the same inbox and are not ignored.
