Cafe management with the sharp edges filed right off. Nothing shouts at you. Nothing seems especially interested in punishing you either, so you place things and watch the numbers tick up. Perfect for leaving open in one window while you listen to something in another.
Sims DNA plus a bit of diner sim, shrunk down to browser-tab size. The loop reads clearly and it hits the small dopamine notes properly. What it hasn't got is tension, anywhere, and the moment you can see the shape of the upgrade tree you have seen the game. Pleasant and slight. I'd still tell people to click it.
Were you a tycoon game kid? Then this scratches a bit of that. Cafe builder, nice and simple, I had the loop straight away. Build a cafe, money arrives, buy more cafe. Nothing surprised me, nothing annoyed me either, it's quick to get into.
