you're a fly. You eat muck and try not to get flattened! That's it, and honestly, for a few minutes late at night it's fine. Nobody involved is pretending otherwise.
Comes down to flight handling, all of it. Insect movement wants fast acceleration and a stop that really stops, plus a clear read on the swat coming in. Get all that right and the dodging feels great. Get it slightly wrong and you spend the run fighting the camera instead.
A one line idea with a one line reason sitting behind it. The premise is the joke, the joke is the premise, and once you've dodged the first few swats you go looking for a second layer... there isn't one. It isn't bad at what it does, there just isn't very much of it.
You're a fly! Your job is tasting dung and someone in the room wants you dead. It commits completely to a stupid premise and stops before the joke wears thin, and stopping there is the correct instinct. Got two laughs out of me. Most things don't manage one.
