Cozy Drone

Satire in games is normally the whole product or it's nothing at all, and this is honest about being the first sort. The gag doesn't develop far past its premise. But the premise is sharp, the pixel work is pulling real weight, and it's finished before it outstays its welcome. Click it the once.

Pixel world from above, a single aircraft, one pass over the map that you can run again and again. Arcade shape, and it wears it well. The satire is doing plenty of work, granted. But top down readability is why those old shapes lasted, and here it gets used properly rather than as decoration.

Bias first, because it matters here. The title and the soft pixel art promise something gentle, and what's on offer is a drone doing what drones do, played for the joke. It's a well aimed joke. Im the one it's aimed at. Came for slow, got a punchline, so this one goes to somebody else.

Cute pixels up front, but the flying is where the game actually is. A drone sim runs on momentum and on shots landing where you point them, and I stopped thinking about either one the moment I was up in the air (that is the compliment). Short bursts. The cosy framing is a joke the controls never agreed to go along with.
