Why I made it
I was bored of building. Every game I play or make has some construction loop or build logic. I wanted something with where I can just do some smashing and Demolition Drive is my idea turned into a game.

You smash stuff. That's the game. After a long day that's the pitch you want. Debris flying everywhere never stops being funny. Quick go, glance at the board, close the tab, feel slightly better
Destruction toys nail the visuals and fumble the feel nine times out of ten, so what I care about is whether the swing carries weight and whether the rubble reacts like it has mass. The leaderboard makes it about efficient destruction rather than pure chaos, and thats definately a better game.
A destruction toy with a scoreboard bolted on. More structure than these things usually get, and about the right amount of it. Still one idea, mind, and one idea holds you for a handful of sessions rather than weeks. The maker wanted no build loop and no crafting, just smashing, and that clarity shows everywhere. Small things that know what they are beat big things that don't.
Swinging a wrecking ball into things is a reliable pleasure, and the physics here are chunky in the right way. Buildings come apart in pieces rather than blinking out of existence. Chasing the leaderboard held me longer than I'd planned. Does one thing and does it well.
