A retro pixel-art platformer (Mario × Mega Man homage) where Dr. Frogsworth blasts and hops through 5 realms of internet decay to liberate the meme formulas from the patent-hoarding Wojak King and Dr. Croak to keep the internet funny and free.
Why I made it
Growing up on games like Super Mario Bros. and Mega Man 2, and watching modern meme culture get eaten by corporate patent-hoarding and algorithmic slop. I wanted a retro side-scroller where the villains are the ones trying to prevent memes from being freely stolen and remixed — because in classic meme culture, stealing = sharing = evolution. Dr. Frogsworth is the hero who made the formulas to be spread forever; the Wojak King and Dr. Croak are trying to gate keep them. It's a love letter to NES-era platformers and the early, free internet.
