Breakable props give your shots somewhere to land. Whether the movement stays quick under pressure is the open question, but the aim is pointed at the right thing.

Office as a horror setting? Good instinct. Strip lights, partitions, that very particular dread of a building that owns you. Letting all of that come apart around you in comic book gore is a stronger idea than most surreal shooters can be bothered with. I only want the collapse to get properly strange instead of only red.

Played this at about midnight and it did the job. Office block coming apart, you shoot your way out, all of it very fast. Over before I had settled into it, which at that hour suited me fine. Strange looking too, in the best way! Nothing much to think about, and thinking was not on the menu.
