About Hamster Hustle
Hamster Hustle is a pixel-art adventure about the very relatable dream of just… getting off the wheel - Game Boy Color nostalgia, corporate absurdity, and zero HR approval.
Why I made it
I wanted to capture the nostalgia and joy of my favorite Game Boy Color games from childhood - that feeling of escaping into a pixelated world after a long day. Hamster Hustle started as a way to decompress from work by building something I genuinely enjoyed, while sneaking in the kind of workplace satire that's a little too real to say out loud in a meeting, lol. Working on it made me feel like a kid again - just in an adult body, lol.
