Jam Train

Playing music badly with a friend while the scenery slides past is a very particular and very nice feeling, and hardly anybody tries to build it. No score. No fail state. Just the noise the two of you make together. The train is a clever frame too. You get motion and nobody has to steer.

Music toys are all response time. Get the note firing the instant the key goes down and everything else can be scenery, and the scenery here is a train window at a very low speed. No goals. Nothing to fail. A small set of tools. All fine by me, because tightness under the fingers is the only thing you can fairly judge a jam toy on.

Call it a mood. Two people, a few instruments, a train sliding past pleasant scenery. Its nearer to a screensaver you can put your hands on, and even that needs a second person in the room. Charming. Not much here to hold on to.
