Lunar Lander

The original was a physics lesson wearing a game costume, and this one keeps that bargain. Thrust burns fuel. Momentum forgives nothing. A landing and a crater are separated by a couple of pixels per second, and you dont get any modern crutches bolted on to soften that. Readable at a glance, which is the whole trick.

Slow game. Quiet game. You fall, you nudge, you fall abit slower, and either you set down gently or you don't. A small careful thing to do with your hands.

Thrust plus tilt. One of the purest control problems there is, because your inputs are permanently arguing with momentum you committed to earlier. Making that feel fair inside a browser is the entire job. The descent reads clearly enough that a bad landing is obviously your own fault, and that's the standard to meet. Barebones by choice, and right to be.
