Orbital Sun Defense

A fast 3D orbital tower defense where you protect the Sun from waves of cosmic enemies using planets, upgrades and tactical positioning.

Why I made it

I wanted to create a fast, instantly playable 3D tower defense that removes friction and focuses on clarity and pressure. The idea came from combining classic tower defense mechanics with a more dynamic orbital system, where the player defends the Sun using planets as strategic elements.

I was also inspired by the idea of “vibe coding”: using AI to rapidly iterate on gameplay, visuals, and systems, allowing me to focus more on design decisions and player experience rather than low-level implementation.

The goal was to build something simple to understand in seconds, but with enough depth to keep players engaged through increasing difficulty and strategic choices.
