1v1 means finding an opponent. An experimental control scheme means finding a patient one. That's a lot of arranging for something you are supposed to click into and start. I'd take an idea like this over the safe nothing most projects attempt, no question. But played today, right now, it depends on conditions the page cannot supply for you.
Yelling at my laptop in order to hit someone. Stupid! And it made me laugh out loud. Short, silly, and far better with another human in the room.
Voice as an input in a 1v1 shooter is a real experiment and I respect it. Trouble is it puts a delay somewhere you cannot tune out. The gunplay still has to carry, and the voice layer is either a second channel that means something or decoration bolted onto a normal deathmatch. Play it to find out which, tho.
Three things have to line up before anything happens at all: a microphone, an opponent, and both of you in the mood for it. When I finally got a match, the voice mechanic turned out funnier than it was good. Shouting to shoot is a joke, not a system. Worth a look with a friend in the room. On your own, no.
