Sixteen clans, and a card pool that size is a lot of world to be handed at once. Card games do run on that, though. Deckbuilding stays dull until the pool is deep enough to surprise you. Whether the factions really play differently or just recolour the same effects is the thing I want to find out.

It wants an account before it shows you anything, and thats a serious ask when everything around it is one click from playable. Then there's the card count. Thousands of them (out of a project this freshly launched) usually means quantity landed before balance did. There is real engineering in here. It just isn't built for someone passing through.

Server-authoritative, real time. For a competitive card game that is what you want, and it's the part solo builds usually skip. Bot tiers matter for the same reason: a young ranked queue is an empty one. What I'd keep an eye on is a card pool in the thousands on a client this new, because balance is then doing enormous work with very little data behind it.

Four thousand cards in fifteen days. Is that the achievement? It reads to me as the problem. What I played was a functional card game definately buried under a mountain of near-identical variants, and ranked matchmaking on a browser game means you're facing the AI most of the time regardless. A quarter of those cards, balanced, would make a better game.
