Slime Escape

Wave survival that ends in a boss is the most well-worn shape in the medium and none of it gets reinvented here. Character is what saves it. The enemy design has a hand-drawn logic that most arena survival games cant be bothered with. It's over quickly, and it doesn't claim to be anything bigger.

You can tell this grew out of a kid's drawings, and that's a compliment. The creatures have that quality of having been invented by someone who doesn't know the genre rules, which no design document has ever managed. And a portal you're told outright not to trust makes a great closing note. Small world. But a world.

Ten waves, then a boss, then out through a portal and done. Right length for the gap while something else loads. No menus in the way. Things come at you, you deal with them.
