The Weight You Carry

Minimal by design only survives if the single mechanic is strong enough to hold it up. This one just about manages, since what you're carrying changes the way you move instead of hanging off you as decoration. Very short, and the point lands a good while before the ending does.

Nothing here is in a hurry. It's a small platformer with one quiet idea: you carry things until you can't. Not a subtle metaphor. A kind one, though, and it makes its point through movement rather than text. Nice to sit with for a short while.

Carrying weight is a movement mechanic before it's a metaphor, and the mechanic is the part I'm judging. If the thing in your arms changes your jump arc, the whole point lands through your hands rather than through text. Built small enough that there's nowhere for it to hide, and that takes nerve. Clean idea. The platforming carries the meaning, not the other way round.
