Why I made it

I wanted to build a game that made you feel the weight of leaving people behind. Most space games let you control everything. I wanted one where you make a decision, fly away, and come back a hundred years later to find out if the people you left actually made it. The AI-generated transmission system grew out of that. I didn't just want to show you numbers, I wanted you to read the last words of a colonist who knew the end was coming, or the joy of a settlement that beat the odds. The emotional core of the game is that you're responsible for these people but powerless to protect them. That tension is what drives everything.
