Why I made it
My daughter Alice and son Michael always wanted to create a game as they are obsessed with silly simulators like Plastic Duck Simulator and Untitled Goose Game. We brainstormed what makes those games magical, the absurd premise, satisfying feedback, pure joy, idle observing, and landed on bubble wrap. It is the most universally satisfying thing in the world, and nobody has turned it into a proper idle game with satisfying ASMR sounds. So we made Bubble Popverse together, with the kids playing every version and telling me which pops felt the best.
