Why I made it

A laddoo on the table. Ants from nowhere. A kid who needed that sugar more than anything. This is a game about every 90s Indian summer — Nani's house, the ceiling fan, load-shedding, and a war nobody talks about but everyone fought. It's you versus the ants. All that nostalgia from my childhood and a recent occurence of seeing ants crawling on my window sill made me create this game. This game, is not about the score, it's about taking people back to their childhood. All cultures have something in common. Abuela, Grandma or Nani, they cared. Their love was enough to make a child feel complete. I want to bring back that feeling through this game.

• Engine: Built without a game engine. Uses a custom requestAnimationFrame game loop in React/TypeScript, with the Web Audio API for sound and Canvas 2D API for rendering.
