The Operator

The Operator is a simulation game inspired by “Papers, Please,” where the player takes on the role of a mainframe operator managing an LLM server in a retro cassette-futurism setting

Why I made it

The core inspiration is definitely "Papers, Please." I wanted to take that feeling of bureaucratic pressure and 'checking documents' but transpose it into a 1980s mainframe office, where instead of passports, you’re managing the chaotic output of a dusty, analog AI server.
